Pikes red mullet 2008

I have always been impressed with pikes white mullet but this is the first time I try the red mullet. Unfortunately, very disappointed! Perhaps the only thing positive about this wine is its upfront aromas. But by no means is this a complete compliment because the aroma is too heavy and at the same time too simple, accompanied by notes of greenness at the background. The green flavor is further enhanced in the mouth and ended with bitter medicinal (cough syrup and bacon) finish.

Is this wine over ambitious? Can't it be made lighter body with fresh fruit flavor? Such a low end wine (around RMB100), why must it want to pretend like a serious wine???

不好意思，中文造诣不是很好，平时写酒评都用英文，试着翻译了几次，觉得怪怪的，就索性用原文了。

另外也不晓得怎么发表到酒评里。

My suggestion: Try this wine in different time or different place. I believe you will get different felling. Try to not let yourself to annalysis this wine for a little bit while. Then i believe you got something different. if you like, i could also recommend wine to you and we share together. Then you could compare with another wine. What do you think?
