澳洲酒庄介绍: Wynns Coonawarra

酒庄：酝思（Wynns）, 库拉瓦拉（Coonawarra）

库拉瓦拉的鼻祖John Riddoch先生给该产区带来的影响渗透进了整个库拉瓦拉，酝思也许是公认的该产区最著名的标志性酒庄。

酒庄于1951年有墨尔本葡萄酒商人Samuel 和David Wynn收购，并将其转变为澳大利亚葡萄酒界最重要的酒庄之一，曾创造出澳大利亚最佳葡萄酒之一的1955年份Michael’ Hermitage设拉子。

酿酒师： Sue Hodder

Sue Hodder 在澳大利亚沙漠地带的中心Alice Springs出生并长大，酿酒对她来说似乎是最不可能的事情，但是Sue 却找到了从红色沙漠通往库拉瓦拉红色土壤之路，成为了一名成功的葡萄栽培者和酿酒师。如今她带领着具有历史意义的酝思酒庄团队。

Sue说话柔和却观念清晰，是阿德来得皇家葡萄酒赛的评委主席，对所有的葡萄品种都持有受人尊敬的评论，不仅仅是其最爱的赤霞珠。

在Sue的领导下，酝思不但巩固了其在该产区的历史性地位，同时不段地为澳大利亚最顶级佳酿添砖加瓦。

THE WINEMAKER: Sue Hodder

Growing up in Australia’s desert heart in Alice Springs, winemaking may not have seemed the most likely life for Sue Hodder, but somehow she found herself on a journey from the red dust of the desert to the rich red soils of Coonawarra.Today, a trained viticulturist as well as a winemaker, Sue directs the winery team at historic Wynns. Softly spoken, but commanding in her opinions, Sue is also the chairing judge at the Royal Adelaide Wine Show, and a respected voice on all grape varieties, not least her beloved Cabernet Sauvignon. Under her leadership, Wynn’s has not only secured its place as a winery of historic and regional significance, but also now regularly now contributes to some of the finest wines produced in Australia in any given vintage.

THE WINERY: Wynns, Coonawarra

The influence of Coonawarra’s founding father John Riddoch is heavily felt through Coonawarra, with perhaps the region’s most recognizable landmark, the iconic gabled winery at Wynns, one of his most enduring legacies. The property was purchased by in 1951 by Melbourne wine merchants Samuel and David Wynn who turned it into one of the most important properties in Australian wine and created such vinous legends as the 1955 ‘Michael’ Hermitage, a bottling from a single barrel of Shiraz that stands as one of the greatest wines ever made in Australia.
