【独酌】潜力强大的ALTER EGO DE PALMER 2008

浓郁的宝石红，带着微微的紫色光泽。红醋栗和李子的果香，若隐若现的花香，并不太像紫罗兰，入口非常清新活泼，同时如丝般润滑。酒的重量感不明显，还显得比较幼细，不过却拥有甜美的口感和完美的平衡感。一半入醒酒器，一半留在瓶中。半小时后，醒酒器中的酒单宁凸显，强劲紧密，平衡感全无。反观瓶中的部分，显得含蓄甚至封闭。

一小时后，醒酒器中出现明显橡木桶的香草、烘烤，层次感出现，酸度活泼，令人愉悦；瓶中以果香为主，绵密紧实，单宁扎实。两小时后，醒酒器中的酒仍让人觉得韵味十足，仿佛依然没有充分打开。把瓶中剩余的约1/4留下来，第二天再试。

不过这时候，开瓶后倒出第一杯酒的空杯香气非常美，黑醋栗、梅子、香草、烟熏和一点厚实的土壤感觉，就是这一只空杯，如同一支充满魔力的香水瓶，立即让你爱上她。

12小时后，重新品味。初闻尽是酸酸的味道，摇杯后立即消散。入口酸度还是明显，以为氧化得还是很严重，十数分钟后，风情尽转。虽然难寻平衡感，不过甜美依旧，润滑依旧，当然单宁也还是感觉得到，柔软中充满力量。

erobertparker: The second wine, the outstanding 2008 Alter Ego de Palmer, a blend of 52% Merlot and 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, is one of the finest examples of this cuvee I have tasted. Well-integrated wood smoke intermixed with notes of creme de cassis, earth, and forest floor are found in this opulent, deliciously fruity, round, and sensual effort. It should drink beautifully for 10-15 years.

thewinedoctor: Alter Ego de Palmer (Margaux) 2008: Harvest and yield information for this, the second wine of Palmer, is as for the grand vin. A blend of 52% Merlot and 48% Cabernet Sauvignon, this wine took 50% of the crop. On the nose a bright and stony perfume, with crisp violets. Freshness follows on the palate, stony but with substance, a touch juicy, but underneath it is structured and firmly balanced. A very appealing wine which puts many classed growths of the appellation to shame. From my 2008 bordeaux primeur assessment. 17-18+/20 (April 2009)

Mr. Plamer 是法国历史上的一名少将军官，在Margaux村买下了一块葡萄园命名Plamer， 在1850年之前，Palmer酒的排名一直在Margaux庄园之前，一度被称为玛戈村的酒皇。 大约在1840--1842年间，Mr.Palmer将酒庄转让他人，1845年------1852年间，酒庄几度易手并在1853年出现了资金周转的危机，这也使得Palmer 园在1855年Bordeaux 列级酒庄的评定中只获得了三级酒庄的名号。最近，英国专业机构按照市场价已把Palmer评为二级。

        据说，1961年的Palmer是最好的，完全看齐Premier Grand Cru Classe， 这几年来，Palmer一直是三级酒庄的翘楚，作为Palmer副牌酒的Alter Ego de Palmer 很有其正牌的风范。
