之前喝了2007，觉得酒体已经完全散开。08 也开始有07的影子，唯一不同的是它稍微年轻一点，还没褪得那么严重，不过喝了也没什么意思。

 

我向来比较喜欢澳大利亚的Claire Valley Riseling。 近来Eden Valley的Riesling名气也响起来了。2004 Peter Lehmann Wigan Riesling 频频在国际和澳洲大型赛会上夺奖。它是少数澳大利亚Riesling存放了好几年才推出市场的一款酒。所以Eden Valley的Riesling也不会是浪得虚名。

 

2008 Peter Lehmann Eden Valley Riesling一直备受好评。我不确定是否酒评家对这款酒的发展推断错误，还是我的味觉有问题，或是我买的那批酒有严重的bottle variation，还是这酒在酿造过程中多或少加了一些东西令到它不能走更远的路？

 

这款酒目前由ASC代理（以前是Torres）。有谁最近有喝过可以一起交流。

It’s early days but I’m loving 2008 Riesling. Extremely young, this wine teases with hints of citrus fruit and talc but the excitement factor is borne from a racy chalkiness and acidity that is like a pick me up. I was meant to be tasting and evaluating this and all I could think of was whether it would be washing down Friday night’s ‘special grilled flake’ or the biggest oysters I could find. My advice – given it involves your money – would be to grab a dozen now, enjoy half-a-dozen and then put six down so you aren’t paying for the mature releases of this stuff which have now won no less than 5 ‘Best in the World’ gongs! Here’s one of Australia’s great dry white bargains. Typically Eden - flowers, vanilla, lemon rind and juice - shows just a touch of sweaty reduction. Intense dry citrus palate with strong acidity that’s fractionally coarse, closing with a good long dry lemon lime finish. Minerally, flavoursome and begging for fish ‘n chips and sunshine. PL’s EV Riesling is two or three belt holes tighter than his straight offering, loading minerality and rapier sharp fruit into the mix. By all means crack one now, because it’s an intense lime-juice-scented wine, but we are sure you will be able to sense that there is so much more to come behind the scenes as this wine ages gracefully.
