A very warm early harvest yielded perfect ripe fruit which was vinified in
small open top fermenters then matured in new and reconditioned fresh
oak puncheons.

拼接的橡木桶中陈酿。
TASTING NOTES/产品特征
Dark, inky garnet, ripe berry fruits, powerful yet balanced. Relatively fast
maturation in new and reconditioned fresh oak puncheons gives a
seamless collage of spice and dark fruits. Complex but very approachable,
the ripe, soft berry fruit gives a palate with beautiful mouthwatering
texture, which has length, concentration and beautiful finish.

As with everything to do with the Maverick philosophy, the winery has been hand-tailored to reflect our careful crafting of individual wines produced in small lots in accordance with time-honored European traditions. In the vineyard we follow a program of sustainable agriculture, with low yields resulting in optimum fruit. For many years the fruit from these vineyards went into some of the top names of the Australian wine industry - they are now proudly incorporated into our Maverick wines.
