Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon is the flag ship wine of our vineyard and like all of theDomaine A wines is only produced in vintages which are considered to be of an exceptionally high standard. This wine was made using the classical Bordeaux varieties of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, PetitVerdot and Cabernet Franc and was matured in new French oak for 24 months. During this time the wine was racked 8 times and bottled unfiltered. The wine wasonly released after a further 12 months in our cellars in September 2001.

Colour Deep Crimson with a dark cherry rim

Aroma Classic Cabernet Sauvignon characters of intense ripe cassis andred berry fruits with hints of dark chocolate and roasted coffee.

Palate Rich and concentrated dark berry fruits and with hints of blackcurrant leaf and spiceflavours supported by fine elegant tannins and balanced acidity. The finish long and persistent.

Domaine A is the premium label of Stoney Vineyard situated in the Coal River Valley, twenty
minutes north of Hobart and enjoys temperate maritime climate with low annual rainfall and long
warm days. Each wine is a true reflection of the relationship between the soil, vine, climate and
the wine maker and we hope that it gives you as much pleasure todrink as it did for us to make.

酿酒师： Peter Althaus

Peter Althaus曾是瑞士IBM公司的一名管理人员，但因为对葡萄酒的热爱，他成立了一个葡萄酒爱好者社团，拥有近7000名的会员。

在Peter49岁的时候，他决定环游世界找寻能酿造好酒的地方，继续自己对葡萄酒的梦想。他通过纬度来寻求凉爽气候的地方酿造葡萄酒，突破了常规的因海拔高度而气候凉爽的产区。最终，他找到了位于塔斯马尼亚煤河谷的一片圣地。他收购了Stoney葡萄园，建立了多明纳A酒庄。

在最短的时间内，Peter酿造出了一连串的顶级葡萄酒，被公认为是澳大利亚最具有创新精神最令人敬畏的酿酒师之一。
