This lovely property situated on the famous limestone plateau of Saint-Émilion has for ages produced wines of unparalleled elegance.

Acquired by Ets. Jean-Pierre Moueix in 1952, the château was elected to the rank of “Premier Grand Cru Classé” at the time of the 1958 classification.

The vineyard, with an average age of 30 years, is U-shaped, thus enjoying a favorable sunny exposure. The limestone soil gives the wine its remarkable equilibrium.
