Tasting note: In 2005 the clear class of the cellar is the Montrachet and its almost a blend of the Chevalier and Charlemagne with the finesse and chiseled quality of the former and the power, weight and sheer intensity of the latter as this is a borderline massive wine yet one with super focus and the intensity is borderline painful, all wrapped in a balanced, harmonious and penetrating finish. This also has the lovely quality of underlying tension and this should age beautifully to produce something really special in time. Note however that patience is required.
